There is a dialogue between architecture and photography through which we perceive space. It is possible then, that our idea of space can be manipulated, simply by manipulating the medium that represents it. By adding the third dimension to this two dimensional medium, the space becomes an illusion bereft of scale. Then the experience of the photograph is nothing more and nothing less than what a viewer can perceive.
The project is an exhibit space created with large-scale prints of black and white photographs that are so arranged as to create the illusion that the viewer is walking through the space that they perceive in the photograph. It is an ongoing project that I started developing as a part of my masters work at IED Madrid.
